We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN, SEND, SEMH, MLD and SLD in Manchester. We are looking for SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at‑risk, and vulnerable learners.

Role responsibilities
* Plan and deliver Maths, English or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD or other Additional Educational Needs referred by local authorities and schools.
* Support the educational and social‑emotional journey of each learner through flexible, holistic, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring.
* Prepare holistic and engaging sessions that meet learner needs and advance their progress.
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on learner progress.
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other Additional Educational Needs
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK (must be based in the UK for remote assignments)
Employment status
* Worker status: short‑term engagements via contract for service.
* Paid via PAYE.
* No self‑employed or self‑employed teaching position.
* Insurance covers work performed for us.
