Overview
We\'re recruiting a Senior Accommodation Support Officer to provide support to our dynamic team as they assist our participants with their housing needs through effective interventions. Assist the Accommodation Team Manager in continuous improvement to practice and the delivery of a high-quality service.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist housing advice and guidance to participants and employees.
* Provide workshops to all members of the team to develop their standards of practice.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
* Manage a small number of complex cases.
* As a senior, line manage a localized team and handle a number of complex cases.
* Develop excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with referral agencies, third party providers and stakeholders.
* Develop high-quality practice among the team by observing and auditing practice, then providing coaching and mentoring workshops to enable development.
* Your performance will be measured against key contractual targets.
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience and knowledge of housing legislation and options.
* Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Experience or knowledge of the work of the Criminal Justice System.
* Good organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
