Instrumentation and Electrical Technician (I&E)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:00

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment
* Work on instrumentation, including transmitters, analysers, and control systems
* Support electrical maintenance across site systems
* Assist with plant breakdowns and fault finding
* Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Work with vendors and specialist service engineers
* Support isolations and safe systems of work, including permit systems
* Liaise with contractors and ensure safe execution of work
* Participate in call-outs and support the plant outside normal working hours
Requirements
* NVQ or Apprenticeship in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
* Approximately 4-5 years of experience in maintenance within process, energy, or industrial environments
* Experience working with instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
* Good understanding of plant operations and safe working practices
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
