UK General Manager
TipTopJob is a UK‑headquartered, fast‑growing precision pressing and stamping manufacturer and distributor based in the West Midlands. We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on leader to drive manufacturing strategy and sustain growth across medical, industrial and other sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the West Midlands manufacturing site with full P&L accountability, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
* Develop and execute manufacturing strategy in partnership with the CEO and sister site in Eastern Europe.
* Direct operational functions—sales, engineering, HR, and functional managers—to deliver predictable EBITDA growth.
* Implement cost‑effective initiatives, manage commercial systems, and optimize MRP/MPS planning.
* Drive continuous improvement programs, champion engineering collaboration, and maintain a world‑class manufacturing centre of excellence.
* Foster an inclusive culture, coach employees, conduct performance reviews, and resolve HR issues.
* Represent the company at board level, communicating strategy from shop floor to senior leadership.
Qualifications
* Director‑level experience in manufacturing with proven P&L leadership.
* Strategic thinking with hands‑on execution in a fast‑growing environment.
* Strong safety, quality, and environmental stewardship background.
* Excellent communication, integrity, and business ethics.
* Agile change agent capable of driving operational excellence across supply chain and manufacturing.
