Job Description Location: Plaistow, East London Position: Behaviour Mentor Setting: Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) - Secondary Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Long-Term Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a thriving PRU in Plaistow that provides targeted support for students unable to access mainstream education due to SEMH or behavioural needs. The school is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to start in September on a long-term basis. What You'll Do: Work closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis Provide behaviour and emotional support using restorative and therapeutic approaches Encourage engagement, resilience, and a sense of belonging Assist in class and during structured off-site learning sessions Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience supporting students in a PRU or alternative provision Excellent behaviour management and rapport-building skills Calm, confident, and solution-focused approach Real commitment to helping young people turn their lives around To express interest, please email your CV to: blake.simpson@twrecruitment.com
