The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Attend clients' operational sites to safely perform scheduled monitoring to determine occupational exposure to dust, fume, noise, vibration and other workplace health hazards Prepare detailed technical occupational hygiene reports to SOCOTEC’s high quality standards Comply with SOCOTEC’s various management systems (Health & safety, Environmental, Quality) Be proactive in maintaining your occupational hygiene continuous professional development (CPD) To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Relevant BOHS / IOA qualifications - (Minimum 1 relevant BOHS module) Degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Occupational Hygiene) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent interpersonal skills to gain the confidence and cooperation of the client’s workforce An ability to self-manage workload & deadlines Full UK driving licence willingness to travel and stay overnight when required About Environmental Our Environmental team brings together specialists across Environmental Monitoring, Consultancy, and Occupational Hygiene, supported by our own specialist laboratories.
