Job Description:
Working with a leading technology solutions prover to the financial industry (fintech) to secure for them a trading platforms Project manager to join the London Team.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan, monitor, and deliver medium to large sized projects within the programme, with support and oversight from the Programme Manager as appropriate
* Manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID), and maintain accurate tracking of actions and status reports
* Oversee JIRA boards and ensure project delivery schedules are maintained using Agile methodologies
* Support project budgeting activities and manage third-party vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of contracted outputs
* Produce project management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics in line with PMO standards
* Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication of project goals, status, and decisions
* Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives, facilitating collaboration and resolving issues as they arise
* Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks and issues; manage change control processes to ensure alignment with project scope and goals
* Ensure project delivery is completed on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards
* Track and report on key project performance indicators (KPIs) and delivery metrics, escalating as necessary
* Ensure adherence to internal project governance frameworks and external regulatory and compliance requirements
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in compliance with audit, governance, and transparency standards
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organisation's project management methodology, tools, and templates
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Change/delivery experience
* Hands-on, end-end project manager with external client management experience
* Extensive experience of agile delivery methodology
* Solid senior stakeholder management skills, including with senior business stakeholders
* Experience of the financial services industry, with experience of the Loans market and trading platforms as a nice to have'
* Very strong communicator
* Well organised, diligent, with a pro-active and can-do attitude
* Ability to be self-guided, with appropriate level of oversight
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Sharepoint
* Comfortable with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Wiki, etc.)
* Worked with delivery teams located in multiple regions
