Salary: £33,603 rising to £37,020 per annum + Excellent Benefits including Government Pension
Location: Police HQ, Exeter, England
Hours per week: This role is 37 hours per week. However, we welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and we are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need.
About the role
The principal responsibility of theLocal Resilience Forum (LFR) Officer is to support the LRF Manager in providing the effective management, coordination and work delivery for the 60+ organisations making up Devon, Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Resilience Forum (LRF). To ensure multi-agency cooperation between the Police and all stakeholders in order to prepare for and respond to major emergencies.
In particular to:
* Give advice and direction at regular meetings with the LRF partners on matters affecting resilience, the LRF and multi-agency working.
* Give supporting advice to the Police regarding contingency and emergency planning issues associated with partner organisations.
* Support the maintenance and management of the content of the LRF Business Plan taking into account perceived benefits and best risk mitigation strategies.
* Support the delivery of the LRF Work Programme; prioritise according to risk and ensure links across to the business plan.
