About the Runcorn Site
The Runcorn site is home to Northgate Vehicle Hire and our sister companies Auxillis and Charged EV, with a total of 41 colleagues. The workshop is supported by a wealth of experience from our Workshop and Branch Managers, with a stream of work from regional and national key accounts and a fleet of 1,700 vehicles. You will join a team of 5 technicians to support the growth of the branch. Situated in close proximity to the motorway and local supermarkets, Runcorn has a great team spirit!
About you
As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire.
Requirements:
* Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years of employment as a technician/mechanic, or
* Fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic.
Training
We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, tail lift, braking systems, electrics, etc.
For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program to increase your skillset.
