The Role
As a Personal Development Manager, you will oversee a caseload of Apprenticeship & Diploma learners, ensuring they achieve their Health and Social Care qualifications at Level 2/3 or Levels 4/5 based on your occupational competence. This involves conducting regular visits (remote and face-to-face) to support, motivate, and guide learners to meet their qualification deadlines, managing your own schedule to meet KPIs.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Engage with learners and employers regularly to secure commitment
* Deliver effective teaching and learning sessions aligned with curriculum standards
* Ensure timely submission and assessment of learner evidence
* Observe learner practice in the workplace
* Support learners in achieving maths and English Functional Skills
* Assist learners in passing End Point Assessments
* Promote learner health and wellbeing, and safeguard their interests
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' vocational experience in adult/elderly health & social care, including Dementia and Learning Disabilities, at a Senior Carer level or higher
* Health and social care qualification at Level 3 or 5
* Experience in work-based learning and holding an Assessor qualification
* Preferably a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification
* Good English and maths skills (GCSE C or above or equivalent)
* Experience working under pressure to targets and deadlines
* Autonomous working skills with excellent time management and organization
* Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
* Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office
