As a Business Management Officer, you will support the Head of Business Management and the wider Risk & Compliance function by enhancing reporting outputs, analysing key business data, and helping coordinate updates for critical risk and governance documentation. You will play a pivotal role in improving how we communicate performance and risk insights to senior stakeholders and governance bodies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Head of Business Management with the development of Group reporting and preparation of governance committee materials.
2. Analyse internal business data and external industry updates to generate insight for the R&C Senior Leadership Team.
3. Coordinate and contribute to the annual Risk & Compliance RCSA updates and Risk Management reporting for the Group’s Annual Report & Accounts.
4. Provide administrative and business management support across the function, including liaising with the Head of Central Risk.
5. Contribute to a positive compliance culture, supporting the delivery of fair customer outcomes aligned with Consumer Duty principles.

You will have experience in a compliance or risk environment and possess strong communication and analytical skills. The ideal candidate is organised, enthusiastic, and confident in engaging with senior stakeholders across the Group.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
6. Demonstrable experience in first or second-line risk and compliance activities, ideally in a financial advice or wealth management setting.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle high volumes of data and provide insight using tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel.
8. Proven ability to draft high-level reports for Board or Executive audiences.
Desirable Criteria
9. Experience supporting governance reporting or committee papers.
10. Familiarity with regulatory requirements under FCA/PRA frameworks.
11. Knowledge of Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SM&CR) responsibilities.
12. An understanding of Consumer Duty and its application to second-line
