At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers.

Your profile
The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection/movement and recording of finished packed products to the automated wrapper. Bring all required packing materials used within the Packing Department on shift to the relevant production line.
* Working in a busy packing environment moving finished packed products to an automated wrapper.
* Bring all required packing materials to the packing lines.
* Safe and correct use of equipment including a pedestrian ride on truck / FLT / Pallet wrapper in a heavy pedestrian area.
* Identifying poor quality in either materials or finished goods.
* Flexibility to undertake new tasks as required.
* Work within housekeeping and 5S guidelines to improve both efficiency and safety.
Experience / Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Personable and excellent communication skills.
* Able to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines within a busy manufacturing environment.
* FLT License required (Counterbalance).
