We’re hiring for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy fabrication workshop based in Oldham.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be working with a range of machinery and processes to produce high-quality sheet metal components for various projects.
What’s on offer?
* £18 per hour
* Monday – Friday | 8am – 5pm
* Early finish on Fridays
* Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)
* 22 days holiday + bank holidays
* Standard pension scheme
What will you be doing as a Sheet Metal Worker?
* Carrying out general sheet metal fabrication
* Operating press brake, Amada, guillotine, and laser cutting machinery
* Using saws and forming equipment for rolling, bending, and shaping
* TIG welding and tacking 2–3mm materials
* Producing accurate work to engineering drawings and specifications
What do you need?
* Proven experience in sheet metal work or fabrication
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Skilled in TIG welding and operating workshop machinery
