Are you passionate about delivering excellent enhanced housing management services to older people? Then this role may be for you. You will ideally have previous experience of working with older people or working within a sheltered housing environment, with an understanding of the practical and emotional needs to assist tenants to live independently within a supportive environment. This is a site-based role to support customers in their homes and you will be responsible for daily welfare checks, day-to-day building, safety and security checks, inspections of communal areas and the overall management of a sheltered housing scheme. In addition, you’ll support social activities for residents, deliver tenancy management plans, engage with residents’ families and work with partner agencies and other professionals to ensure customer’s needs are met. As a Scheme Manager you will have excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, have a genuine interest in working with people and be self-motivated to instigate activities and create a sense of community whilst engaging and including everyone.
