Responsibilities of the Autism Teaching Assistant (TA): Provide 1:1 and group support to students with ASD and other SEN needs. Assist in creating tailored learning strategies to enhance students' engagement and progress. Support behavioural management to promote positive behaviour and social interactions. Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage the development of essential life skills and independence in students. Requirements of the Autism Teaching Assistant (TA): Experience in SEN or behavioural support, particularly with children with ASD. Ability to support students with high support needs and provide 1:1 assistance. Resilient, proactive, and patient personality with a passion for working with children. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers and other staff. Commitment to enhancing the educational and emotional well-being of children with autism. A current CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one). Benefits: Competitive daily rate.
