Responsibilities
As an Accounts Assistant, you will
* Managing bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently
* Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in line with relevant deadlines
* Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT returns, personal tax returns and corporation tax work
* Supporting clients with general finance and administrative queries while maintaining strong day-to-day relationships
* Providing wider administrative support to the business and assisting with the continued growth and development of the firm
Requirements
As an Accounts Assistant, you will need
* AAT part or fully qualified
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice
