Support Practitioner - Peebles
Full‑time and part‑time roles available.
Earn up to £27,960.08 per year pro rata.

All Support Practitioners are paid at least the Real Living Wage, currently £13.45 per hour (£27,350.04 pro‑rata). After successfully completing the probation period, the hourly rate increases to £13.75 (£27,960.08 pro‑rata).
The Peebles service provides support to individuals within the town enabling them to live full lives and be involved in the local community. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic people who are driven to promote independence and life skills. The service is busy and active locally, supporting a wide range of people with their day‑to‑day living. We also attend local activities and groups in Peebles.
We are looking for individuals who can:
* Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
* Communicate and work well with supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Be responsible in supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
* Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark’s Information Management system.

Experience in roles such as Care Worker, Support Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Support Care Worker is an advantage but not essential; Ark provides full training.
