Material recycling facilities supervisor

We're looking for an experienced and proactive MRF Supervisor to join our Client. In this frontline leadership role, you'll oversee the daily operational activities within our Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) and Resource Recycling Facility (RRF). You'll work closely with team leaders and operatives to ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently and in line with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily MRF/RRF operations and shift activities.
* Monitor and achieve performance targets for quality, throughput and downtime.
* Promote and enforce health, safety and environmental procedures.
* Lead and motivate operational teams to achieve daily targets.
* Support coordination of material movements within the MRF/RRF.
* Conduct pre-shift checks, toolbox talks, and maintain accurate shift records.
* Liaise effectively with engineers, contractors and management.
What We're Looking For
1. Experience in waste processing or a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
3. Good understanding of health and safety practices.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
