We need strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments. We require experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. We are seeking hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics. We would like exposure to virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. We need experience supporting or delivering cloud platforms including Azure, Intune, and AVD. We require experience supporting or delivering on-premise to Azure migrations. We need a solid understanding of IT security principles. We are looking for strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. We need the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. We require strong communication skills and confidence working across the business. We need a full, clean driving licence. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL would be advantageous but are not essential. Responsibilities: We provide advanced technical support across hardware, software, and network issues. We install, configure, and maintain servers, systems, and workstations. We monitor system performance and ensure reliability and uptime. We manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches. We support system upgrades, patches, backups, and migrations. We implement and maintain IT security standards. We assist with IT projects including system rollouts and migrations. We document processes, configurations, and fixes. We support and mentor junior team members. We work with external suppliers and service providers where required. We may provide occasional out-of-hours support.
