We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Property Finance team at Residential Management Group (RMG). This role plays a key part in supporting our operational teams with day-to-day finance queries and processes, helping to ensure accurate financial management across a portfolio of developments within your region. You'll work closely with Property Managers, internal teams, and clients, providing timely financial support and maintaining high standards of service. Where will I be working? You will be based full time at our offices in Northwich, CW9 7LN. Key responsibilities As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be responsible for: Supporting Property Managers with the preparation of service charge budgets Preparing and producing regular financial reports for clients, including debtors, creditors and budget vs actual reporting Issuing customer demands, including budgets, service charge accounts and ad-hoc requests Processing the setup of new build completions and following up as required Managing handovers for lost management sites in line with agreed SLAs Managing RICS reserves and inter-fund loans to support cashflow requirements Processing Tax Trust Returns Supporting the wider finance team with additional duties as required Essential skills and experience: Entry level finance experience within a finance or accounts environment, with a desire to develop a career further in finance Working towards (or willing to work towards) AAT qualifications Strong Excel knowledge/skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver a consistently high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills What RMG can offer you 27 days holiday plus all Bank Holidays Free Healthcare cashback Plan (re-claiming for things like optical treatment (plus an optical discount voucher) and dental care, physiotherapy and GP Charges – plus more!
