This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated finance team and play a key role in supporting housing-related services across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth operation of the purchase ledger, expenses, direct debits, standing orders, and credit/debit card processes.
* Oversee timely and accurate bank reconciliations and quarterly VAT returns.
* Line manage two team members - a Purchase Ledger Supervisor and an Assistant Accountant.
* Lead on the preparation and coordination of annual budgets for property-related services.
* Support managers with budget monitoring, financial forecasting, and performance analysis.
* Provide expert financial advice to support value for money and strategic decision-making.
* Contribute to broader financial strategy and planning across the organisation.
About You:
We are looking for a motivated finance professional with:
* Strong experience in financial reporting and budget management.
* Previous exposure to the housing sector is essential
* Excellent communication and data analysis skills.
* Advanced Excel proficiency, including use of complex formulas and macros.
