Enabling the implementation of improvements, you will analyse activities, identify trends across the projects and share these insights across the business.You will also be part of a larger practice-based team that will be responsible for developing major transport projects that, support economic growth and productivity, reduce congestion, improve safety, support housing development, and provide a more resilient roading network.**Ko koe tēnei | About you**To be successful in this role, you will bring:* Proven experience in a PMO or project delivery environment across a diverse portfolio, ideally working on civil engineering and infrastructure projects with a focus on project controls - cost management, risk management, reporting, and scheduling* Experience in project financial management (budgeting, reporting and analysis) and using relevant project management scheduling, reporting and financial systems* Outstanding organisational and communication skills* Experience in project or programme management and preferably with a degree in business, commerce, accounting and finance, engineering or equivalentYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.This is a great role for someone looking to join a diverse team of people, who support each other and are passionate about achieving their goals and results.We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $91,328 to $112,000 commensurate to skills and experience.View the position descriptionThe focus of the Transport Services group is to provide, improve and maintain an integrated land transport system to effectively enable people-centred, technology-enabled, system focused transport services, in partnership with other system providers.
