Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £55,000 dependent on experience
Location: This role will be 2/3 days WFH and 2/3 travelling to different Kent sites or at an office in the Kent area.
We are recruiting a Mechanical Reliability Engineer based in Kent. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to maintain assets at high standards, increasing reliability and minimizing downtime.
The role focuses on expanding strategies within Wastewater, transitioning from reactive to planned maintenance, and establishing a reliability-centered maintenance approach during our AMP 8 investment period.
You will design and implement RCM strategies to ensure cost-effective and efficient asset maintenance, compliance with legislative and environmental standards, and monitor performance through asset surveillance, KPI trending, and asset information review.
Responsibilities include conducting reliability studies such as FMECA and RCA assessments to improve asset performance, maintaining detailed documentation of strategies, procedures, failure analysis, and best practices.
To succeed, you should have:

* Experience in analyzing, operating, and maintaining assets

* A flexible approach and engaging personal style
* Strong logical, analytical, and planning skills
* A Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
