Vario is a market-leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which includes Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management, and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role is within our MLS team.
As the Vario team expands, we are recruiting a Delivery Manager to support our MLS Delivery teams in providing a world-class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. The role involves engaging with various sectors and groups, focusing on the development and well-being of our legal delivery teams and their capabilities. The successful candidate will:
1. Line manage a team of paralegals responsible for delivering work to both lawyers and external clients, including supervision, training, and development of direct reports.
2. Supervise the delivery of legal services to end users.
3. Provide service delivery management support on engagements as required, including resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting.
4. Continuously develop delivery models to ensure best-in-class service.
5. Build effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors.
6. Collaborate with Resource Management to effectively allocate work, monitor, and manage capacity and workload levels.
Our standard working hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm; however, we are open to flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview

* Experience working on property-related matters.
* Experience in alternative legal services.
* Proven experience managing a high-performing team of legal professionals.
* Experience delivering legal services in a high-volume, multi-location environment.
* Ability to influence stakeholders within a large commercial law firm to promote the benefits of alternative service delivery models.
* Significant experience working with performance metrics to ensure top-tier service delivery.
