We’re on the hunt for a highly motivated and technically competent Sales Lead who can take our client’s growth to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of a growing startup and make a tangible impact in the UK manufacturing sector.
This is not a sales management role – we need someone who will actively hunt new business, own the commercial success of the company and be a hands-on seller.

* Competitive compensation package of £55,000 - £70,000 base

What you'll be doing
You’ll spearhead the expansion into the UK SME market, using a consultative selling approach across innovative asset health solutions to maintenance and operations teams who are frustrated with costly unplanned downtime, energy inefficiencies and outdated maintenance practices.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
* Identifying and developing sales opportunities with SME manufacturers
* Engaging with maintenance managers, ops directors and energy managers to understand their pain points
* Developing your market presence and leveraging your network to open doors
* Defining and executing a sales strategy
* Leading the full sales cycle
A bit about you
We’re looking for someone with an engineering or maintenance background who can speak the language of maintenance and reliability professionals (not just pitch software).
* Engineering background – you’ll have hands-on experience in industrial automation, condition-based monitoring and/or asset-reliability
* Industry knowledge – you’re well-connected in the UK SME and mid-market industrial sector and understand the maintenance, operations or energy efficiency space
* Sales driven – you might be a technical specialist transitioning into sales or an experienced salesperson with technical expertise. Either way, you are motivated by results and building long-term customer relationships.
* Self-starter and commercially driven – you can work independently in a start-up environment and take ownership of sales growth without micromanagement
* Passion for innovation – you believe in the power of data, IoT and predictive maintenance to transform industrial operations
A few other key requirements our client is looking for:
* Willingness to travel across the UK&I
* Engineering degree or related (preferably)
