This team leads and is responsible for all the financial aspects of the Care Services business unit, ensuring effective delivery of the strategic agenda and the three year plan in the most cost effective way. Bupa Care Services operates over 120 care homes across England and Wales.This role is a key support for the Head of Revenue Management, Finance Director and other senior operational, finance and sales stakeholders.How you’ll help us make health happen:Identify and act on opportunities to enhance the in house cost of care calculationAnalyse dependency and maximise opportunities to achieve costed fee ratesManage complex and high value dependency reviewsWork closely with the Public Sector team/care homes to add relevant resident costing details to fee negotiationsApplies judgement and manage riskSupport the wider commercial finance team to deliver high quality data analysisStaying aware of the latest trends and developments in dependency calculationsSupport full funder dependency reviews, identify value opportunitiesKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:Detailed knowledge of resident care dependencyExperience of conducting Care AssessmentsExperience and knowledge in the healthcare sector required including of funding pathwaysA good understanding of and experience in using Microsoft Excel including formula and pivot tablesA high level of attention to detailFlexible approach to workload as business requirements changeGood communicator in both verbal and written formsWell organised with effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlinesFlexible and dependable and adaptable to changeSelf motivated and passionate to achieve results and positive outcomesBenefitsOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
