We are looking for a hard working, ambitious and outgoing person to join the community team at Shoreditch Exchange. Shoreditch Exchange is 8 floors of vibrant space with offices, a gym, barista, beer taps, event spaces, roof terraces and our amazing community.


Our sites are dynamic serviced offices / co-working spaces that fosters collaboration, creativity and community amongst members. We provide an innovative workspace environment where professionals, entrepreneurs, and freelancers can thrive and grow their businesses.


About the Community Team


The community team is integral to providing a best-in-class member experience in each of our buildings. From greeting members in the morning, surpassing expectations on a service front and creating initiatives to bring inspiration to the working day. We are seeking a vibrant and outgoing individual to join our team as a Community Associate. As a Community Associate, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and productive atmosphere for our members. You will be responsible for building relationships, organising events, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly for our members and their guests.


About the role


* Member Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for members, greeting them warmly, and fostering a sense of belonging within the community.
* Community Building: Proactively connect members with one another, encourage collaboration, and facilitate networking opportunities.
* Facility Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the co-working space, including maintaining cleanliness, managing amenities and resolving any issues that may arise. Respond quickly to any member issues or queries always with a hospitality centric and pragmatic approach. Regularly walking round and ensuring the space looks as good as it can and escalating any issues.
* Membership Support: Assist prospective members with enquiries, provide tours of the facility, and onboard new members effectively.
* Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as managing member records, processing payments, and responding to emails and enquiries in a timely manner.
* Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote our coworking space through various channels and attract new members.
* Improve the experience: Suggest new ideas and initiatives to help improve the day-to-day and long term experience of our members and performance of the building.
* Administrative tasks: Write emails, upload information and ensure trackers are up to date.


Who are you?


· Ideally 2 plus years’ experience in a hospitality environment with significant customer service experience.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Constantly looking to improve everything around you through ideas and actions.

· You are pro-active and not afraid of unexpected challenges and finding a solution for unexpected challenges.

· You enjoy speaking with and meeting different stakeholders be it a potential supplier a potential member or a new member of staff. You can quickly talk to different topics such as the space offering, challenges with a budget or your favourite type of dog.
