Overview
This is a new opportunity for a Receptionist to join the team based in Chirk, North Wales. The successful candidate will join on a full-time basis and will receive a competitive salary.
Hours of Work
* Week 1: 07:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)
* Week 2: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)
When covering holidays, 07:00 – 17:00 will be required, with the extra hour paid at basic rate.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer all incoming calls, advise and direct to the appropriate party, and announce nominated calls.
* Provide first welcome to visitors.
* Prepare for customer visits, ensuring correct PPE, e.g. hard hats, is available.
* Make tea and coffee for visitors and meetings. Set out buffets.
* Provide directions to contractors, drivers and visitors.
* Issue contractor vehicle permits.
* Undertake various administrative tasks (e.g. posting invoices).
* Administration of the clocking-in system.
* Any other reasonable duties that may be asked to perform.
* Meet or exceed any specific performance objectives and adhere to policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
* Preferably secondary/college education.
* The ability to work under pressure due to fluctuating phone calls and visitor numbers.
