To undertake and lead complex private client legal work within the Private Client Department, delivering a high standard of technical expertise, client care, and commercial awareness. The role includes responsibility for supervising junior team members, supporting departmental growth, and contributing strategically to the firm’s success.
Responsibilities
· Managing a complex and varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, estate planning, and related advisory work.
· Providing high-quality, practical, and commercially focused advice to clients.
· Acting as a trusted adviser and building long-term client relationships.
· Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior team members.
· Reviewing work prepared by junior colleagues.
· Maintaining effective client communication and managing client expectations.
· Overseeing documentation, billing, and compliance with firm procedures.
· Contributing to departmental strategy, growth, and business development initiatives.
· Attending networking events and seminars, and contributing marketing content.
