We are representing a well-established SME stairlift engineering business with a turnover of circa £7m and a workforce of around 50 employees. Operating nationwide, the company is entering an exciting phase of strategic growth.
The Senior Executive Assistant Role
This is a pivotal, trusted role that supports the CEO at the executive and board levels. As Senior Executive Assistant, you will serve as the CEO’s right-hand, ensuring day-to-day efficiency while supporting strategic initiatives across the business. This role suits a confident, experienced EA who values autonomy and close involvement in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities of a Senior Executive Assistant

Provide comprehensive, proactive executive support to the CEO

Manage complex and ever-changing diaries, meetings, and priorities
*
Prepare agendas, board packs, briefing notes, and presentations
*
Attend board and senior leadership meetings
*
Take accurate, professional minutes and clearly document actions
*
Track actions and ensure follow-up across the business
*
Support the CEO in chairing strategic meetings across the UK
*
Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logistics
*
Act as a key liaison between the CEO, board members, and senior stakeholders
Ideal Senior Executive Assistant Candidate

Proven experience as a Senior Executive Assistant supporting C-suite executives
*
Demonstrable exposure to board-level meetings
*
Exceptional minute-taking and action-tracking capability
*
Advanced diary, schedule, and stakeholder management skills
*
Highly organised, proactive, and confident working autonomously
*
Comfortable travelling across the UK with occasional European trips
*
Professional, discreet, commercially aware, and trusted at a senior level
