This is a key role within the finance team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of monthly management accounts, provide insightful financial analysis, and support strategic decision-making. Your new role Support with monthly and year-end reports for stakeholders. Prepare month-end journals, prepayments and accruals, and handle other month-end tasks. Work with external accountants for tax compliance and audits. Reconcile balance sheets and find ways to improve efficiency. Communicate with operational teams to highlight risks and improve processes. Prepare content for board meetings. Make sure suppliers are paid on time, and manage cash flow. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have previous experience in a Management Accountant role and have experience in a similar environment, strong IT skills, including Intermediate Excel and experience working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of quality and detail. Experience using SAGE is desirable. You will have previous experience in driving processes and implementing change, and be able to provide examples. Part-qualified accountant actively pursuing a professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA). Skilled in using SAGE Proficient with Microsoft products, especially Excel.
