Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties Northampton 24 hours per week over 3 days Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota Salary - £ 16,167 per annum pro rata plus pension and company benefits We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and friendly Part Time Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to join the team at our Brewers Decorator Centre in Northampton. You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and teamwork skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed. Conveniently located on the Orbital Trade Park our Northampton store has been providing expert advice on all things decorating for over 20 years. In store customers will find a wide variety of designer and trade paints, wallcovering and fabric options as well as all of the decorating tools and equipment our customers need to get their jobs done, whether they be a professional decorator or a keen home décor enthusiast. It's thanks to our experienced and friendly team we are known for being the first choice for decorating materials in the area. Branch opening hours are 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday and 8am - 5pm on Saturday. As a Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties for Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include: • Providing exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service • Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs • Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van • Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network • Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service • Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards • Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales • Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store Who we are looking for to join our team: • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations • Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues • Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual • Familiar with the surrounding area • Full clean manual driving licence • Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry • Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right person.
