Interior Designer (Mid Weight) Location: South Manchester Salary: £35,000- £37,000 Package We are excited to announce our partnership with a brand led, customer centric Residential Property Developer. With HUGE projects on site and in the pipeline, across the UK and Europe, we are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join them on their journey and be responsible for helping bring incredible developments to life through the design process. You will be working alongside the Group Head of Interiors to help design and deliver the interior design of luxury Residential buildings, as well as communal and amenity spaces. These guys are not only focused on providing excellent services to their customers, but they take pride in creating a work environment for their employees like no other, with state of the art offices, incentive schemes and company outings, we can ensure working here will almost feel like a dream The Role You will be required to produce design documentation in sufficient detail to fully describe the design intent for the projects as well as producing general arrangements, detailed drawings, ff&e schedules and 3D sketches, etc as required. A strong knowledge of CAD/ Sketchup and Layout is vital in order to present to the wider team. You will also be part of the creative team, attending Design Meetings, and working alongside the marketing team, developing and defining the brand standards of the company in line with the core values of each brand. The Person You will be a creative visionary with a passion for transforming spaces into outstanding, yet functional places, and you will be comfortable aligning this creativity with a commercial acumen. You will be someone who can confidently create and bring ideas to life, whilst also relaying those ideas to the wider design team, and constantly keep in touch with the brands identity. University degree or equivalent Minimum 4-5 years’ post qualification experience An organised, creative thinker Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Layout, InDesign and Photoshop Strong interest in interior design within a Student accommodation / Hospitality background. Excellent time management Thrives in a fast paced environment Proven experience in searching and discovering new products Knowledge of UK and European supplier market preferred There may be some European Travel required, so you must be open to travel outside of the UK.
