Job Title: Senior Commissioning Engineer – Electrical (Weapons)

What you’ll be doing:
1. Taking equipment from the build team and starting initial testing
2. Initial power on of equipment and setting into work and into integration with the rest of the platform
3. Safe testing of equipment and operations
4. Using Team Centre and SAP on Dreadnought
5. Create test documentation and aligning systems with build programme
Your skills and experiences:
1. HNC/HND or equivalent in related discipline or STEM subject
2. Experience with combat systems
3. Knowledge of safety controls & procedures in a high-risk environment
4. Demonstrable experience of Instrumentation Systems including Electrostatic Discharge, Low Voltage Control, Data Communications & Fibre Optics

The Test and Commissioning team:
You will be part of a team responsible for commissioning the first of class Combat System and Tactical Weapons System on the next generation of Dreadnought submarines, working on equipment that is at the forefront of technology and the enhancement of already used systems.
