We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated CCTV Drainage Engineer to join our team working out of our Sheffield Depot. This is a permanent full-time role, working 47.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Operate CCTV equipment to inspect & assess the condition of foul and surface water drainage systems
* Produce accurate reports and condition assessments using industry-standard software (Wincan)
* Locate and diagnose drainage issues such as blockages, structural defects, infiltration and root ingress – provide recommendations for remedial action
* Liaise with Project managers and engineers to deliver high quality survey data
* Maintain and calibrate survey equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order
* Carry out confined space entries where required (with appropriate training and certification)
* Provide support in emergency response situations involving drainage failures or flooding
* Ensure daily job sheets, risk assessments and method statements are completed
Qualifications & Requirements
* Driver with less than 6 penalty points
* Experience working with drainage CCTV surveys and coding
* Be able to travel to the Depot each day
* Ability to work in a 2 person team
* IT skills including Excel
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* OX19 preferable
* CSCS Card preferable
* Be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures. Being flexible is essential, as some jobs may require early starts and/or weekend working.
