We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic and friendly Volunteer Event Marshals to support our exciting programme of fundraising events across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.
Our events simply wouldn’t be as big, as brilliant, or as impactful without our volunteers. Whether you love cheering people on, helping behind the scenes, or being part of a vibrant community atmosphere, this role is a fantastic way to get involved and give back.
What You’ll Be Doing
There’s always plenty going on, and roles may include:
* Encouraging and motivating walkers, runners and cyclists
* Helping participants stay on the correct route
* Supporting participant safety and contacting the Fundraising Team if any issues arise
* Handing out water and medals
* Giving directions to key areas such as the Info Point or start line
* Being a friendly, reassuring presence on the day
No previous experience is needed — just a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
