Amour Recruitment is seeking experienced Customs Clearance Clerks to work for our well-established client based in Portsmouth.
You will be responsible for completing import and export customs declarations, so previous experience is a must!
Duties include:
1. Complete GB Border pre-notification
2. Calculate and pay appropriate HMRC tariffs
3. Issue proforma invoices
4. Advise customers on GB requirements
5. Process declarations and send to HMRC
Personal requirements:
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
7. Ability to identify and prioritise workload
8. Knowledge of customs declarations are a must
Hours: Shift patterns week 1 -3 are Monday to Friday 0800-1700, week 4 1000-1900 and one weekend in 4 on call (Additional £200 paid for this and you can work it from home!)
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
