About the Role The main purpose of the System Verification Test Technician is to support the delivery of verification activities for new system designs and formal verification activities for the full system. The primary activities include executing formal test protocols from the system and sub-system requirements, creation of test reports, and raising any deviations or issues found during testing. The role includes ensuring all test equipment is in working order and calibrated if required, and elements of exploratory testing for new features. Responsibilities Execution of test protocols from system, user and risk related requirements Creation of technical test reports that follow GDP (good document practice) Ensuring test environments and rigs (software, hardware or combination of both) are functional and calibrated Creation of bug reports and communication of issues to the Team Lead and Project Teams Monitoring and reporting test progress to the Task Lead Working collaboratively with other team members to identify process improvements We’d expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the System verification remit that helps the team deliver its objectives. About You To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be: Experience of the manual testing of complex devices and/or systems (ideally in a regulated environment) Experience of driving tests using pre-defined software scripts Experience of using a wide range of measurement and electronic tools (e.g. bench power sup-plies, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, thermocouples) Excellent team working skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills A can-do attitude for a variety of tasks The ability to keep accurate records, e.g. serial numbers, test reports, etc Experience of management / maintenance of test and measurement equipment Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Word and Excel Ideally: working knowledge of issue trackers Ideally: knowledge of working in an Agile environment Knowledge of Lab H&S and good lab working practice Experience with using motion tracking equipment and industrial robots a distinct advantage Willingness to keep learning! HNC / ONC Qualified in a technical subject, or equivalent Experience in a manual test capacity with complex products Why Join Us?
