This is an exciting interim Financial Controller role for a subsidiary of one of the largest property groups in the world.
The role is a 7-month contract, suitable for someone from a practice background with at least 2 years of industry experience. It is based in their Central London office with a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office per week.
Main responsibilities include:
* Leading the month-end close process, including balance sheet reviews, trend analysis, and intercompany reconciliations.
* Ensuring accurate and complete reporting in compliance with local GAAPs.
* Coordinating with the Shared Service Centre for timely processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and intercompany recharges.
* Preparing accounting memos on revenue recognition and the accounting implications of property/entity acquisitions or disposals.
* Managing the annual audit process, addressing auditor queries, and implementing corrective actions.
* Reviewing annual financial statements and statutory disclosures prepared by third parties, and ensuring timely filing of local reporting, tax returns, and quarterly VAT submissions.
* Reviewing Joint Venture Agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition.
