About the Role
Are you a creative and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher looking for flexible work that fits around you? We’re looking for passionate teachers to provide day-to-day and short-term cover across primary schools in Yeovil, with the exciting possibility of moving into a longer-term position for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across different year groups, build strong relationships with schools in the local area, and showcase your teaching skills – all while keeping flexibility in your schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver engaging lessons that inspire pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
* Adapt to different classroom environments and ensure continuity of learning.
* Support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN or EAL.
* Bring energy, creativity, and a positive attitude into every classroom.
* Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
What We’re Looking For
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
* Recent experience teaching in primary schools.
* Confidence in managing classrooms and adapting to new environments.
* A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
* Flexibility – whether you’re free one day a week or five.
* Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
