2. Support technology development, application support, or infrastructure management.
3. Challenge and support the Business, other lines of defence, and regulators.
4. Manage stakeholders effectively in a matrix environment.
Valued Skills:
* Knowledge of Technology standards such as Change, Incident Management, Data, Cyber, and Resilience controls.
* Ability to produce governance reports and host governance forums.
* Motivated with a flexible approach, capable of leading additional requirements as needed.
This role will be based in our Glasgow office.
Purpose of the Role:
Assess the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework to support risk mitigation and protect operational, financial, and reputational interests.
Accountabilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve control effectiveness through documentation and assessment.
2. Identify and investigate control weaknesses and promote continuous improvement.
3. Develop reports on risk assessment findings and recommendations.
4. Review the effectiveness of internal controls against policies and regulations.
5. Ensure adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework and appropriate control assessment methodologies.
