Overview

Equans is looking for a Technical Services Manager (Operations) to join our team at Pinderfields Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package. Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the Technical Services Manager (Ops) is part of the site-based leadership for all mechanical, electrical and building fabric technical service delivery, and participates on the 24hr on-call rota as part of the local escalation procedures. The TSM will lead, direct, and motivate the site Technical Services team to maximise their potential and contribute to best-practice service delivery.

What you will deliver and how


Responsibilities

* Manage maintenance teams, including specialist subcontractors, to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the hospital.
* Coordinate site operations in compliance with company, contract and local procedures to standardise Equans service delivery.
* Meet and exceed contracted service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, customers, partners, contractors and other third parties to deliver best-practice services.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for safe working practices and safe operation of plant, equipment and services, and meet Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) and Quality Assurance requirements.
* Review the site Health & Safety (H&S) Plan and associated Risk Assessments with the SHEQ team, ensuring obligations for H&S and statutory requirements are applied.
* Oversee maintenance (planned and reactive) in line with budgetary, quality, service levels and legislation.

Who are we looking for?

* Qualified to HNC/HND level in an engineering discipline with a proven managerial track record over the past 3–5 years.
* Technical background with significant exposure to a Healthcare environment preferred.
* Holds or is willing to obtain AP appointments through professional development.
* Demonstrates technical leadership.
* Must have (or be able to obtain) Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) clearance to ‘Standard’ level.
