Solutions Manager

UK Wide - travel required


As a Solutions Manager within our Project Professional Services (PPS) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and value of project delivery across existing Mitie customer accounts. You will also support strategic bid activity for new and retained national contracts, helping to shape innovative, client-focused solutions.


What are the main responsibilities?

You will support the development and execution of the PPS strategy and contribute to business development across the portfolio. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in project delivery, you will support the FM sales and bid teams alongside the Solutions Director. You will also:

* Build a deep understanding of Mitie’s products, services, and project delivery capabilities to articulate compelling value propositions.
* Contribute to the creation of complex win strategies for bids and sales opportunities.
* Collaborate with the Solutions Director and Client Development Directors to build a strong pipeline of new business and account enhancements.
* Lead the design of holistic, differentiated solutions that meet client needs and position Mitie as a market leader.
* Work with the Projects Centre of Excellence to integrate emerging digital and AI technologies into our service offerings.
* Assist in resolving live project delivery challenges and support the achievement of financial and strategic objectives.
* Track and report on opportunity progress to inform business reporting and decision-making.
* Champion a customer-first culture across all engagements.


What are we looking for?

You will have a proven experience in a Solutions Manager or Account Manager role within an FM project delivery or built environment organisation within Construction or Infrastructure environment. You will also hold:

* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels internally and externally.
* Understanding of RIBA stages, CDM regulations, and project risk/compliance frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
* Experience supporting the development of business cases and high-level programme plans.
* Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset.
* Graduate-level knowledge of the built environment or a related technical discipline.
