New Directions Education is recruiting passionate SEN Teachers to join our busy supply pool across specialist and mainstream SEND provisions in the Wakefield area. This is ideal for teachers who want flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Teaching pupils with a range of additional needs (SEMH, ASD, MLD, PMLD)
2. Planning and delivering personalised, engaging lessons
3. Working closely with support staff and following EHCPs
4. Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
We’re looking for:
5. QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
6. Experience within SEN or a strong interest in specialist education
7. A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
8. Confident classroom management and behaviour strategies
