Senior Security Architect – Cloud and DevOps
Location: Newcastle
Module: Hybrid (3 days a week)
Employment: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities
* As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for defining the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals.
* You will document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security‑managed operations.
* You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
* You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
* Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
* Develop innovative security solutions that align with the overall cloud strategy.
* Conduct regular assessments of cloud security controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
* Lead training sessions to enhance team knowledge on cloud security best practices.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
* Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and technologies to continuously improve the security framework.
Required Skills
* Expert proficiency in DevOps.
* Advanced proficiency in Git is recommended.
* Advanced proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security Architecture, GitLab CI/CD, and Managed
