The Role
We are looking for a motivated and practical Shovel Driver/Railhead Operative to join our busy team at Llandudno Junction Railhead. This hands-on role is central to our material loading and processing operations.
You’ll work in a dynamic rail loading environment, operating plant machinery and supporting the safe and efficient transfer of construction materials.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate mobile plant equipment including loading shovels and excavators
* Carry out daily inspections, basic maintenance, and housekeeping of the site and equipment
* Maintain high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental management
* Work flexibly as part of a proactive and supportive team
* Support operational efficiency through strong problem-solving and communication
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Experience operating loading shovels and/or excavators (essential)
* A hard-working, can-do attitude
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work occasional night shifts and weekends
* A commitment to safety and operational excellence
