About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive school in St Albans. In this role, you’ll work closely with children with SEN, providing the support they need both in and out of the classroom.

* Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
* Assess progress and provide constructive feedback in line with school policies.
* Foster positive behaviour through calm, consistent, and supportive approaches.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* Contribute to wider school life, activities, and events.
* Be willing to travel between sites or outreach settings as required (a vehicle is essential for transporting pupils when necessary).

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* A qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification.
* Educated to GCSE level (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths, or equivalent.
* Experienced in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Skilled in communication, behaviour management, and ICT.
* Calm, patient, compassionate, and committed to inclusive teaching.
* Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
