An exciting opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at an award winning luxury spa resort located in the in the heart of Suffolk. As Junior Sous you will assist the senior chefs to organise, monitor and train the brigade of 7 chefs and will be expected to take control of the kitchen on quiet nights. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals, dishes are made using the kitchen garden produce, combined with the best of East Anglian artisan food producers, allowing the team to create seasonal menus that reflect the county’s organic bounty. This is also a busy wedding venue throughout the year catering for up to 100 guests at a time.
Requirements
The Head Chef is seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef who is seeking a role where they can commit themselves in a fast paced quality kitchen. Previous banqueting and restaurant experience working in high volume fresh food kitchens is essential along with strong organisational skills.
