Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector for a company located in Huntington Beach, CA.
As a Quality Inspector you will:
* Perform visual inspection of parts for high quality conformance.
* Accept or reject finished items.
* Document and correct quality issues.
* Share your quality knowledge and experience to help create a best-in-class quality inspection process.
* Build and improve quality systems and documentation including SOPs and quality specifications.
* Review documentation to ensure specifications are followed.
* Inspect products for defects such as scratches, surface finish, etc.
* Assist with identifying and correcting problems.
* Communicate production issues to supervisor.
* Complete necessary paperwork to fulfill customer and quality requirements (e.g. recording data, quantities inspected, etc.).
* Ensure all systems transactions are completed and documented.
This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 1-2 years with quality inspector background
* Experience working in a manufacturing performing First Article, In Process and Final Inspection
* Must have experience with using precision inspection tools
Shift: 5:15 AM to 2:00 PM
Days: Monday through Friday and occasionally overtime on Saturday
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
