About you
You’ll be someone who:
* Has an interest in the website publishing process, with experience uploading articles via WordPress
* Is comfortable editing content for digital audiences, with a working understanding of SEO basics and implementing SEO strategy guided by specialists
* Remains organised and confident managing a busy workload, even when priorities shift
* Is confident attending in‑house and industry events, representing the brand and engaging with readers, partners and suppliers
* Is naturally detail‑driven, with a high standard of written English
* Has a commercial mindset and an interest in contributing to audience growth
* Is experienced working with multiple collaborators, keeping communication flowing and actions followed up within deadlines
* Is confident researching and coordinating information for articles and interviews
Your new role
As Editorial Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Editor and helping to drive the continued growth of PA Life’s digital presence.
This is a hands‑on, varied position where no two days look the same and your contribution has real visibility and impact.
What you’ll be doing
* Supporting the Editor with website article publishing, helping to increase the volume of daily content
* Editing press releases and partner‑supplied articles, optimising for SEO/GEO
* Researching and writing introductions, preparing interview questions, and contributing to features and practical guides across a broad range of topics
* Managing the production of two weekly newsletters
* Supporting our wider objective to grow website traffic through high‑quality, relevant and engaging content
* Attending in‑house and industry events, providing editorial coverage and representing the PA Life brand
Role details
* Part‑time: 2–3 days per week
* Remote role with occasional meetings at main Hertford office
* 23 days holiday, plus all UK bank holidays (pro‑rata)
